The person who plans your media is the person who buys it. Which means I'm also the person who tells you when not to spend.

Anyone can buy media - buying it well that's a different skill entirely.

I'm Elise. I founded MediaWords in 2014 after 25 years inside Australia's biggest agencies working with global brands and building teams that delivered.

I left the agency model behind to fix what’s broken: clients getting senior expertise without the handoffs, the layers, or the junior teams pretending to be senior.

I lead every engagement personally and stay on the tools working across all media, not just digital. 

I bring strategic thinking, commercial judgment, and the kind of industry relationships that come from decades in the room where deals get done.

I work embedded or advisory, depending on what’s needed. I bring calm, clear decision-making under pressure. And I’m honest about what I do and what I don’t.
